Engineering and Process Development Division
 
The engineering division deals with the process engineering and operation of various pre-processing and pretreatment reactors for the conversion of different biomass materials into fuels and chemicals. This division involves in hands on operations of pretreatment reactors, optimization of process parameters, designing and improving existing pretreatment processes, and developing new processes. This division provides support to "Technology Transfer Division" in cost analysis, material balances, proforma, and PFD development for the scale up of bench data to the pilot and demonstration scale. The engineering division also works closely with fermentation and enzymology divisions and provides support for fermentation reactors design as well helps in improving product recovery processes.
 
Senior Engineer (1)
Qualifications & Experience: PhD in Chemical / Biochemical Engineering with at least 3 years of industrial/ research experience in the relevant area.
